How to upload your own designs to a 4×7 sticker sheet

Make one 1200 × 2100 px transparent PNG (4 × 7 in at 300 DPI), then upload it as an image in Cricut Design Space or open it in the Liene app. Here are the supported formats and the steps for each.

1. Prepare one sheet-sized PNG

Both printers print 4 × 7 in sticker sheets at 300 DPI, so the sheet image you want is 1200 × 2100 px (1 in = 300 px). Our free 4×7 sticker sheet maker builds that file for you in the browser: add your images, pick a size, and download a transparent PNG with white borders.

  • Use transparent PNGs for shaped stickers, so the border and cut can follow the outline instead of a rectangle.
  • Think in pixels: a 1 in sticker is 300 px, a 1.5 in sticker 450 px, a 2 in sticker 600 px. Artwork smaller than that will be enlarged and can look soft.
  • Leave a margin. Liene publishes a 3.9 × 6.7 in printable area (Liene tech specs); Cricut does not publish one for StickerPix, so our tool assumes 0.15 in.

2a. Cricut Design Space (StickerPix Print + Cut)

Design Space accepts these upload formats (Cricut Help Center):

  • Raster: JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, HEIC
  • Vector: SVG, DXF (SVG files are limited to 5000 paths)
  • PDF and TIFF: not supported — convert to PNG first.
  1. Open Design Space and choose Upload, then select your PNG.
  2. Add it to the canvas and check the size reads 4 in × 7 in. Whether Design Space resizes a 1200 × 2100 px upload automatically is unknown, so always check.
  3. Send it to your StickerPix Print + Cut as usual.

Mobile tip: Kerri Crafts It reports that on the mobile app “You can only upload one image at a time” (Kerri Crafts It). Combining several designs into one sheet PNG with our tool first can save steps.

Untested: whether Design Space cuts each sticker on a combined transparent PNG separately, or only around the outer outline, is unknown. We have not been able to test this on a StickerPix yet. If you try it, a test print on one sheet is wise.

An internet connection is required (Cricut shop (US)) (Cricut doesn’t publish an account requirement on its StickerPix pages), and some content and features need a paid Cricut Access subscription (Cricut shop).

2b. Liene app (PixCut S1)

The Liene app accepts JPEG, PNG and HEIC (Liene tech specs). Liene recommends transparent PNGs because they are especially useful for its automatic outline cutting (Liene product page); the printer kiss-cuts around the design after laminating (Liene blog).

  1. In our sheet maker, choose the “Liene PixCut S1” preset so stickers stay inside the 3.9 × 6.7 in printable area (Liene tech specs).
  2. Download the PNG and save it to your phone (the Liene app runs on iOS and Android; Windows is not supported (Liene tech specs)).
  3. Open the PNG in the Liene app and print on a 4 × 7 in sticker sheet.

Quick checklist

  • Transparent PNG, 1200 × 2100 px for a full 4 × 7 in sheet at 300 DPI.
  • Gaps of at least 0.125 in between stickers so white borders never touch.
  • Nothing important within the safety margin.
